Holiday Weekend

Hi Crafty Friends,

I hope you have a wonderful long weekend planned with friends and family. I thought I would post a quick birthday card for a little inspiration. I loved using the Tim Holtz stapler to add a little texture to the ruffled paper. The Bo Bunny paper I used is one of my all time favorites for birthday cards.
I hope you like it! Have a wonderful day!!

Hi Crafty Friends!
Sadly, the summer is soon coming to an end and school is starting for my kids. I just love having them home but I know they are looking forward to school and seeing their friends on a more regular basis 🙂 Maybe the brighter side is that I may be able to create more which is something I really enjoy doing.

I created this card for one of my BFF’s -Jackie- for her birthday. She is SUPER crafty and talented to I really needed to step up my game…I really loved working with the material for the flower. It was a pretty thick white cotton with fantastic texture. I added some glue and glitter as well as rhinestones from Want2Scrap to give it a little bling, cut the card with my Cricut and my Close to My Heart Art Philosophy Cartridge, used my glitter Spica pen to add the sparkly dots on the card,  a Stampin’ Up! Stamp & punch for the sentiment. From my stash I used the leaves and the, red, white and black card stock. I would love to hear your thoughts on this project. If you are interested in purchasing the Cricut cartridge that I used to create this, which is AMAZING I MUST ADD, please click here and it will take you to a friend of mine’s website that can hook you up with it as well as a BRAND NEW AMAZING Cricut cart called Artiste. YOU WON’T BE SORRY!!! Well, your budget might… LOL Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for visiting!

Hi Crafty Friends!
I REALLY love the summer! I love having my kids home, not having to keep a strict schedule and all of that FUN STUFF and it’s been FUN! I found out not too long ago that my Godson is going to be a DADDY! HOW EXCITING IS THAT? I am thrilled and excited to go visit in September for the baby shower 🙂 This is a card that I created for her to celebrate her pregnancy. I used copic markers and I am not sure of the maker of the stamp. If I am able to find out, I will be sure to edit this  but I know that they are sadly out of business. I hope you have a wonderful day and enjoy some craftiness 🙂

**** The pregnant woman stamp is from The Angel Company and sadly closed its doors in 2011****

Hi Crafty Friends!

MY HOW TIME FLIES!! I thought I would post something since it has been a while. School is out, we had our annual garage sale and I am sick but I had some pictures of a few cards I made for Father’s Day so I thought I would share! I hope you have a wonderful weekend and enjoy a nice Father’s Day celebration with your loved ones!

The top card was made with Stampin’ Up stamps and the bottom card was made with
Close to my Heart Stamps and Stampin’ Up Stamps. Additional supplies I used were Copic markers, Memento black ink, fishing line and my McGill ticket punch.

Do you like PRIMA PRODUCTS?

Are you in SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA?

They are having THEIR 2012 WAREHOUSE/PARKING LOT SALE!!!  I went today and below are some of the pictures from my adventure! They have a bunch of items including some stamps, tons of flowers, paper and more! If you are in the area, you should check it out! They are open tomorrow, May 12th for the sale from 10-6 and their address is 5564 Edison Avenue, Chino, CA 91710. I hope you share what you scored! Have a great day and Happy Mother’s Day to all of my friends that are Moms! I hope you are celebrated as you should  be on Sunday and every day!

Below are pictures of the parking lot sale at Prima. There were about 8-10 rows that look like the row on the right.. a lot of great stuff. I would have preferred more white items because I like to color my own stuff but the items I got are AMAZING! I hope you are able to enjoy this sale as much as I did!

Below is a picture of the items I bought… Although I did spend $170.00.. There is well more than 3 X that here… Please be sure to share your fabulous buys if you are able to go yourself! Enjoy your day!
