Sooooooo I went to the CHA (Craft and Hobby Association) Show last weekend and it was a blast! She is so sweet and I asked her if she would be as so kind to give me an autograph for one of her fans and she graciously obliged. Now for the fun stuff!

As I said before, Becky is UNBELIEVABLY gracious. I went to CHA with a few of the Creative Crew members as well as my hubby and oldest son. Christian is 18 so fortunately, he was able to attend this year! Christian was a great sport and he was my “poser” for pictures. Don’t you think this picture is great? I love how it turned out!

If you haven’t heard of Project Life it is a simplistic way to do scrapbooking by having pre printed cards and layouts that are easy to follow and do. You can embellish as much or as little as you want! Here are a few pictures of my favorite sets although I LOVE THEM ALL, I had to pick just a few.

I love bold colors and I love this line. The bold colors, sayings and cute designs really will be useful for me in my creations. Most of all I like versatile designs. I have two boys but don’t want all masculine products either so a versatile set that can be used for multiple things is what I look for and THESE ARE AWESOME! I am really excited! For the names of the collections, check out my video for more details!

I LOVE the doodle edition and the all seasons edition.. AGAIN THE COLORS ARE FABULOUS! Really versatile and adorable! Did you ever think to use your extra cards to create a greeting card or use it for a cover page of your Project Life book? Words that are important to you? Just a thought.. The possibilities are REALLY ENDLESS!

With the above set there are some really cute coffee items as well as home doodles… its just all around so cute!! LOVE IT!

However above all else, I think my favorite is the Explore Edition. This would be great for my boys between dirt bike riding, going camping, etc. The colors are perfect for that as are the embellishments. TOO DARNED CUTE! I see an increase in spending with the economy… UH-OH!

You may also want to check out our stamp sets. Our alphabet stamp sets as well as our Sign Language Alphabet stamp sets are great for any Project Life, Journal, Pocket Page Scrapbooking, Planner or anything you creative and crafty you come up with!

ANNOUNCEMENT

We have an announcement…. Some of you may have been wondering the status of our stamps and new release hops. We have had to make some difficult decisions in the past few months. Due to some urgent family matters, we have had to postpone our new clear stamp releases until further notice. We do plan on having new stamp sets in the future as we have some great designs on the horizon however family is more important and as I am sure you will agree, family first <3 We still plan on doing Mondays with Melissa, our YouTube videos and of course we post on Facebook, etc. It’s not the end by ANY means… It’s just a necessary slowing for a little bit… Just a few bumps in our family road but this too shall pass, right? 🙂 Thank you for your continuous support, prayers and understanding. We greatly appreciate it.

Weather Related – Creative Crew Member Brandie has really done it THIS TIME!

WOWSA! Am I a lucky girl or WHAT? Brandie on our Creative Crew created this amazing card with the Weather Related stamp set. I love how the Kaiser Kraft paper goes PERFECTLY with this stamp set! She used the Kaisercraft Shine Bright Collection. I love how the stamps really pop with the yellow background. What do you think?

We are trying something a little different this month. We are not doing a blog hop as we have done in the past. We had some concern that people were having quite a time and some got confused. It was suggested that it was easier to just go to a central location and then go back and forth from there so that is what we are doing. Who is sneaking around? Is it Photo Booth Fun? One of our stamp sets that are going to be released tomorrow is just that! The Photo Booth Fun Stamp Set is an awesome set that is so versatile-YOU are going to LOVE IT! It is cute, silly, awesome and most of all.. FUN! Having photo booths is all the rage now a days. Especially with people taking so many selfies for their social media pages. This set has awesome images as well as sentiments to use for all of your party layouts as well as your cards and projects! Here is a little sneak peek of what you are going to see… This creation is from Haidee on our Creative Crew. Adorable isn’t it? Our new releases are tomorrow! Use Your Paper Scraps, Favorite Embossing Folder & Make Quick and Easy Cards

Here is a great tutorial on how to use up your scraps as well as give a little texture to your creation! Use Your Paper Scraps, Favorite Embossing Folder & Make Quick and Easy Cards is a quick video to give those visual learners (I am one too) a short and sweet tutorial that can help you use up your stash. I learned this technique from one of my best friends Sharon. She is amazingly creative and always inspires me! She taught this in a class a number of years ago but I have always loved the result and wanted to share it with you. The video has more detail or you are welcome to check out the instructions below. You are also getting a sneak peek at ONE of the FOUR stamp sets that we will be releasing on Wednesday-Spring and Summer Holiday Celebrations Stamp Set.

Supplies

Coordinating color/designed craps

Your favorite punches

Card Bases

Trimmer

Adhesive

Foam squares

Manual die cut machine and appropriate platforms

Embossing folder

Spring and Summer Holiday Celebrations Stamp Set (Coming out this WEDNESDAY!)

Ink

Directions:

Pick out the card base you would like to use for this creation.

Decide what color mat you would like for your design on your card base.

Cut out a size that will look good on the card base you have chosen. I used an A2 card base and cut my paper mat at 3.5 x 4″ Some were varied a little due to the size of the scrap.

Punch out your favorite shapes.

Arrange and adhere your punched shapes on your selected color base piece of paper.

Place your colored mat piece of paper with the adhered shapes inside your embossing folder. DO NOT EMBOSS THE CARD BASE.

Emboss it with your manual die cut machine.

Take out your creation and adhere it to the card base.

Stamp your sentiment on a piece of scrap paper that will coordinate nicely with your creation.

Cut or punch out your sentiment using a complimentary cut or shape to the creation. I used a dog tag punch and cut out a rectangle with my trimmer for mine.

Use your 3-D foam squares to adhere the sentiment to your card.

Your creation is complete! Now you have created some Quick and Easy Cards using your scraps!
