A Creative Journey with Melissa Sign Language Alphabet Stamp Set
Mini Book from Target Dollar Spot ($3.00 for 8 in the package)
Decorative Paper
Xyron sticker maker
Black Ink
Paper to stamp on
Banner Punch
Scissors
Adhesive
Twine

Here are the two packs of mini books I purchased at Target. They were at the $1 spot. I thought it was funny that they were actually $3.00 but you did get 8 in a pack. The above pictures show you the different styles they had at my Target. I love the bright colors!

Take out your paper, block, ink and stamps. Peel off the letters that you will need to spell the name you are creating for. Place your first letter on your block. Ink your letter and stamp the letter on your paper. Repeat for all of the letters for the name you are spelling.

Take out your punch. Punch the letters out using your punch. I use it upside down so I can see exactly where I am punching.

This is what it looks like once the letters are all punched out.

Punch out your decorative paper to create the backing of your banner letters.

Take out your Xyron sticker maker. Place your punched out paper in the opening on the top. You can tell on the side whether it is the top or the bottom by the wording on the side. Make sure your paper goes in far enough to where it touches the adhesive.

Use the area at the bottom to rip off the sticker paper.

Peel the paper from the adhesive back to reveal the sticker you have created!

Adhere your letter sticker to the decorative banner paper.

Apply adhesive to the back of your banner letters. Take out your twine. place the twine down and lay out your letters and adhere.

Trim off your excessive twine.

Your creation is complete! If this book wasn’t for a four year old boy, I may have added a little bit more embellishments or decoration. I REALLY want him to look at it, hold it and create in it so I don’t want it to be too decorated so that he isn’t able to enjoy it. It is best to think the age of the student when creating and deciding on embellishments.

Thank you for joining us and we hope you enjoyed going on A Creative Journey with Melissa.
