Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking Magazine Farewell Blog Hop

Welcome to the very bittersweet farewell blog hop for Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking Magazine. For as long as I can remember, I have been reading Paper Crafts magazine as many of us have. It is my go to magazine for inspiration when I am in a creative stump, need a little pick me up or just want to have a little “me” time. It was my therapy! The amazing team that has dedicated their creative talents, time and energy by creating an amazing magazine that will be cherished forever. I have kept many of the magazines I have purchased over the years as I love to go back and see how things have changed as well as get inspired by the amazingly creative creations featured. I have admiration and love for all of you and your awesomeness. I can’t thank you enough for being so wonderful.

I have been so blessed and honored to have some of the amazing Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking Magazine’s Go to Gals create with my stamp line. There aren’t words to express the amount of gratitude I have for Teri Anderson & Laura Williams for supporting me and creating with my stamps. I am humbled and honored by their graciousness and truthfully I think they outdid themselves!

These creations were made by Laura using my I Just Love You stamp set. I love the colors, design and layout.. well really everything and you can see why. If you would like to see more details of Laura’s creations,  here is my blog post.

This creation was made by Teri Anderson using the hexagons from the Design Elements stamp set as well as the “Thinking of You” sentiment from the Inside and Out stamp set. I love the colors and the watercolor technique she used. If you want to read more about her creation, check out her blog post here.

Last and definitely not least, I would like to thank Stacy Croninger. I have always admired Stacy’s talents throughout her various creations, projects, television appearances, and the list of greatness is endless…..

A funny story I would like to share is one when I was at CHA. I was talking with Stacy and there was a photo being taken at the Creative Crafts Group of the CHA Designers and all of those around were asked to be in it. Both Stacy and I looked at each other and we clearly were NOT looking to go to the front of the picture.. I myself said, “I am good right here.” and Stacy said, “Me too!” So out on the furthest edge we could be and still be somewhat visable, we smiled, giggled and posed for the picture.

This is the picture

This is the shot a little bit closer so you can see us hiding in the back LOL!

Besides sharing a few laughs, when I decided to start my stamp line she was so supportive, helpful and sweet as many of the Paper Crafts & Magazine ladies were. I feel with Stacy’s mentoring, she allowed me to gain the confidence that I can do this. Stacy has always been willing to help me and answer any questions I may have. This is the type of spirit and kindness she has, always, for everyone. I have known her for a number of years due to our mutual love for paper crafts and I am blessed and honored to call her my friend.

Each and every one of you and your talents will be missed. Thank you for so many years of creative amazingness. Whatever adventure you are now led to, I hope that those that are blessed enough to work with you realize what a gift they have in each and every one of you.

Thanks for the memories!! I am SO GRATEFUL and I will treasure them always!
