Sweet Baby Girl Card is what I have for you today. Two of my lovely friends are first time Grandma’s! I am so excited for them! I am also excited for their kids first time being a parent! What better way to show my excitement? Making them a handmade card, of course!

A Creative Journey with Melissa Baby Love Stamp Set
Black Ink
Card Base
Paper to punch out butterfly
Trim or ribbon
Scissors
Butterfly Punch
Adhesive
Rhinestones
3-D Foam Tape or Pop Dot/Square
Here is the Sweet Baby Girl Card we are making. It is simple, elegant and of course PINK!
We are using the A Creative Journey with Melissa Baby Love Stamp Set. This set is retired and we only have a few left. Be sure to nab it at the awesome price of $6.95 before they are gone gone gone!
Take out your card base, decorative paper and trim out.
The trim I chose had an elastic edge. This was perfect to use for where the adhesive would adhere to the paper.
Apply adhesive to the back of your decorative paper.
Apply your trim to the back of your decorative paper.
Trim off your excess trim.
Take out your decorative paper and butterfly punch. Punch out your butterfly.
Take out your rhinestones. Apply your rhinestones to your butterfly.
Here is the butterfly and the base of the card. I purposely put it a little different because I wanted to show you how just a little difference could change the look of the card.
I use a pen with a cap to carefully roll the butterfly wings to give it a little more a 3-D effect on the card.
Adhere your butterfly on your card. You did it! You have completed your card!!
