Movable Card Created with Scraps is what we have for you today. With my A Creative Journey with Melissa stamp sets, I love to create sets that are versatile. Supplies Needed for the Movable Card Created with Scraps Project

A Creative Journey with Melissa Birthday Wishes Stamp Set

Acrylic Stamp Block

Adhesive

Pattern paper

Black Ink

Solid color paper

Sizzix die cut machine

Stephanie Barnard die set 659634

This is the front of the Movable Card Created with Scraps Project

The Movable Card Created with Scraps Project is simple, cute and clean.

The inside of the Movable Card Created with Scraps Project… MY FAVORITE TYPE OF PROJECT! Cool and simple!

This is the die set I used for the Movable Card Created with Scraps Project. It is Stephanie Barnard die set number 659634.

This die set has ELEVEN dies which allows for so many combinations!

You will need to take out three dies for this project. The first is the tag die.

The second die you will need is the card die.

The third is the inside panel die.

When placing your die down on your paper, be sure that you place your die with the side above toward the paper you wish to cut. The areas shown above are what actually cut the paper.

This is the back of the die which is flat and has no cutting properties. This will be facing toward you when you cut  your paper.

For your Movable Card Created with Scraps Project, take out your die cut platform, clear platforms, paper and card die. Place your die cut platform down along with one of the clear platforms. Be sure to place your card die facing down on the pattern paper on the cutting side so the flat side is toward you. Place your second clear platform on top of your die.

Run your die through your die cut machine. (Lesson Learned.. do it TWICE!)

The die didn’t cut all of the way through all of the paper. It was cut for the most part.

I  had to fold it on the areas it wasn’t cut and carefully pull it away from the outside of the paper.

Take out your solid colored paper, your panel die and your tag die. Place your dies on your paper with the correct platforms.

Run your dies through TWICE just to ensure it cuts completely.

The second pass thru the die cut machine HELPED! LOL

Here are the die cut pieces you will need to make the Movable Card Created with Scraps Project.

Take your card base and fold along the score lines.

Apply adhesive to the back of the inside panel die cut. Adhere to the inside of the card as shown above.

Apply adhesive to the back of the tag die cut. Adhere to the tag area on the card as shown above.

Take out your A Creative Journey with Melissa Birthday Wishes Stamp Set. Take off the sentiment of your choice from your stamp sheet. I chose to use the Celebrate stamp this time instead of Happy Birthday.

Place your sentiment on your stamp block. Ink your sentiment and stamp on your card as shown above.

*Change it up! Add a little twine for a different look! You can even do the creation sideways as I have done with the tutorial so you  have numerous different options for your creation!

This is the card creation done a little different as well. Even just a little turn of the creation gives you such a different look!

I really like the versatility of the die set as well as the stamps! SO MANY POSSIBILITIES!

Now onto the Daiso Store Haul

So now we are onto the Daiso part of the Awesome Deals Shopping Haul. If you haven’t been to a Daiso store and you have one in your area, you will want to go. Go here to look for a store in your area. If not for anything else, go for the experience. I went to the Diaso Store in Gardena, California. From what their website said, they were the largest store in the Los Angeles area with 1415 square feet. They have so many cool things and not all from the Daiso brand in Japan although most are. I love their products and the versatility their products provide. This is definitely a think outside of the box type of place!

Here are the items we purchased on our Daiso part of the Awesome Deals Shopping Haul!

Awesome Deals Shopping Haul Scrapbooking Made Simple and Daiso j

Now for the pictures of the Diaso store…

Craft Haul Part 2

Craft  Haul Part 2 is what we have for you today. This is the second video of my swap meet Craft Haul. If you want to check out my Craft Haul part 1 click HERE. Today, I wanted to share the rest of my craft haul from the swap meet I bought last week.  I had gotten such a great haul I had to split it into two videos. I know… rough problem, right? It was so much fun I am going to have to go again soon.. when I can afford it!

Craft Haul Part 2 a

First we have some awesome Sizzix Embossing Folders here.

I LOVE THEM! So excited to create with them! One of the greatest things about them is that they are the larger size 5″ x 7″.

Craft Haul Part 2 b

The first embossing folder is the Kitchen Weave pattern. I love it! I think it is really versatile as you can use it for both male and female creations!

Craft Haul Part 2 c

Here is the Honeycomb embossing folder. This works great with our Design Elements stamp set.

Craft Haul Part 2 d

This is the Old Paris embossing folder. The detail is awesome!

Craft Haul Part 2 e

Here is a full picture of the embossing folder.

You can use this for a driving creation, travel, map, and so much more!

Craft Haul Part 2 f

As you can see here, the paper is an A2 size and the embossing folder is 5 x 7 so you can see how much more paper you can use with this folder. AWESOME!

Craft Haul Part 2 g

Now we have some banner dies. I love this set because it has various sizes that are perfect for matting or for creating multiple sizes for different uses.

Craft Haul Part 2 h

This is another awesome set. I love the example creation on here!

Craft Haul Part 2 i

Here is the back of the packaging so you can see how many dies come with this set! What a great deal!

Craft Haul Part 2 j

Here we have three different card sets.

These die sets have not only the card die but so many embellishments and other goodies for you to create with!

Craft Haul Part 2 k

Here is the first die. I love all of the different elements you can create!

Craft Haul Part 2 l
Here is the back of the set showing you all of the amazing dies that are in this set.

Craft Haul Part 2 m

Here is another amazing card die set. I love how cute the scalloped edges are!

Craft Haul Part 2 n

Here is the back of the envelope showing you all of the dies included in this awesome set.

Craft Haul Part 2 o

Here is the third card die set.

I love how many elements and how adorable the creation is on the front!
Craft Haul Part 2 p

I have taken out the dies for a closer review of the die set. This is the die for the card. It folds as shown above so that it is a moving card. Once folded properly, it will be an A2 card.

Craft Haul Part 2 q

Here are all of the dies included in this set. All of the circle dies can be nested in one another. I LOVE that! You also don’t have to worry about fussy cutting the mat for the base of the card. you have dies to do that for you! HOW EASY IS THAT?!

We hope you enjoyed checking out our craft haul! See anything you like?

Let me know and I hope to do a giveaway soon with one of my craft haul finds! Thank you so much for joining us today and for going on A Creative Journey with Melissa.
