Color wood embellishments using Chameleon Pens is what we have for you today. I love wood embellishments! Not only do I like them in their natural state of color, I like to add color, distress, bling, paint, and so much more! I love that I can change the look and effect of the embellishments too. Today we are going to show you how AMAZINGLY easy it is to change the look of a wood coffee cup embellishment. This literally takes seconds to do! Not only that, it allows you to add color so that it matches your project! Ready? HERE WE GO!

What you will need to Color wood embellishments using Chameleon Pens:

Wood Embellishments

Any other medium you wish to use on the wood embellishments

Take out your PK3 Chameleon Pen and your wood embellishment. In this case, it is a coffee cup.

You will choose which side of the pen you wish to use and take the cap off of that side.

I chose the bullet nib for coloring this coffee cup. Make sure when you color wood embellishments using Chameleon Pens, simply color directly onto the wood embellishment. Do not press too firmly or you can ruin the nib. Any nib you choose to use will work. It’s really personal preference.

If you chose to, you can color the edges of the wood embellishment as well. For this project, I didn’t. I really liked the color of the coffee cup on the sides in it’s natural state. This would be a personal design choice for you.

Here is a close up of the colored coffee cup. If you would prefer to have the color a bit darker, You can color it again which would enhance its color.

As you can see here, I colored the coffee cup purple but only needed one coat of color due to the deep pigment color in the pen.
