Explosion Mini Book Part 2

Explosion Mini Scrapbook Part 2 is what we have for you today. We are going to be covering your front and back cover with.. Yes, MATTE (not glossy) clear shelf liner! Yes, it really works great and there are multiple uses for it too especially when you are trying to avoid finger prints!

This is what the inside of the cover looks like once you have covered it with the clear shelf liner and I purposely covered it past the paper so that there was a little bit of a seal onto the mat board.

For the Explosion Mini Scrapbook Part 2 Project, I used the clear transparent shelf liner. I believe I bought mine at either home depot or Walmart. It is available at multiple places. I do believe it is the duck brand.

Make sure you have an inch around your entire Explosion Mini Scrapbook Part 2 Project that you want to cover. This will ensure adhesion on the other side completely covering your paper.

Carefully remove half of the clear shelf liner backing from the liner.

Try to do it so that you don’t make harsh creases in the liner as they may show up on your project and they can be hard to remove.

For the Explosion Mini Scrapbook Part 2 Project, you want to be sure that you place the clear shelf liner in the middle of your project as shown.

Make sure you rub out any air bubbles or lines from your shelf liner as you place it on the front cover.

This will also ensure adhesion of the clear shelf liner to your cover.

The inside cover looks like this one you have applied the clear shelf liner to the front of the cover.

Cut all four of the corners of the clear shelf liner as shown.

You will end up with the cover looking like the above. You will want to throw out the 4 triangles you cut from the corners.

Here, I used the hard surface to bend the edges of the clear shelf liner toward the inside of the cover.

Fold in the shelf liner toward the inside of the cover as shown and repeat for the other three sides.

You have finished the Explosion Mini Scrapbook Part 2 Project!
