Graduation Thank You Notes
Graduation Thank You Notes is what we have for you today. It is hard to believe my baby boy is no longer in high school. Time has really flown by!
My son graduated high school last week and I couldn’t be prouder! This picture is of my son, my sister and I. It’s one of my favorites!
I wanted to be sure he wrote his thank you notes for the graduation gifts he has received. As you can see, his high school colors were gold and purple so I thought what better way to show someone you care than making them? Are you ready to get creative? Let’s get started!
Supplies Needed for the Graduation Thank You Notes
A Creative Journey with Melissa Spinner Greetings stamp set
A Creative Journey with Melissa Sentiments for All Occasions stamp set
Card Base
Embossing Folder & Manual Die Cut Machine
Colored paper for card
Twine
Black, purple and gold ink
Scissors
Adhesive
Take out your embossing folder, die cut machine and paper. Place your paper in the embossing folder as shown. Close your embossing folder.
Put your embossing folder on your clear and standard platform. Place the clear platform on top of the embossing folder.
Run your embossing folder through your manual die cut machine.
This is what it looks like. I really love the texture of this embossing folder.
Take out your adhesive and card base. Add some adhesive to the back of your embossed paper. Adhere your paper to your card base.
Take out your A Creative Journey with Melissa Sentiments for All Occasions stamp set. Peel off your Thank You sentiment and place it on your acrylic stamp block.
Ink your sentiment and stamp your sentiment on your yellow paper.
Take out your twine and wrap it around the paper with the sentiment stamped on it.
Apply adhesive to the back of the sentiment and adhere to your card base.
Take out your yellow and purple ink as well as your A Creative Journey with Melissa Spinner Greetings stamp set. Put the small dotted star, place it on your acrylic block and ink it with the purple ink.
Replace the stamp with the solid small star. Ink the star with the yellow ink.
